I read the article and I still don't know what his crime was.
"Girard Damien Saenz, 56, was arrested on suspicion of manufacturing, distributing, transporting or selling assault weapons, a felony, the Los Angeles Police Department said. Saenz was being held on $50,000 bail." I'm guessing it wasn't on the books.
The operative word there is "or."
I bet 1 Canadian loonie that they didn't have shit on him so the brought that charge bc he had to transport the guns to get them there. They didn't just magically appear in the house. Now with a charge, they have an excuse to confiscate.
