If the government owes $28 trillion in public debt, and relies on taxes to pay it, and most of the population relies on government stimulus checks from the government that relies on their taxes, then we all know the government is insolvent.
So if the federal budget and debt is just a farce, then what is taxation really about? Federal government doesn't need to tax anyone if the budget doesn't have to be balanced and they can print as much money as they want.
So taxation is only for theft and oppression. It's not required to balance a budget.
