This is why the FCC was formed in the first place, for frequency coordination.
These are massive sweeping changes that avoid taking the social issues head on which is a noise filled environment. Instead you are dealing with the base of the problems and not tinkering around the edges. The trickle down effects are not a trickle, they are a tidal wave. Almost any problem you can name right now is resolved by #1 & #2.
There are ways to tackled professional "news" (cable, print, etc) but I wanted to start with the two pillars of our problems without making this too complicated for the reader. Also, it might not be required, there are some very smart thinkers who have some ideas about how to make professional liars responsible again. And this may be already happening as some hints of it are appearing. Project Veritas being such a hint.
