NGL, it was sweet growing up in the 80s. I sometimes feel bad that my sons cultural experience with his generation is so weak.

Having said that the 80s was also when divorce skyrocketed and cultural poison like gangsta rap, crack and normalized pornography started.

I agree. The decline of morality in the 60s led to the legalization of abortion and no-fault divorce (coincidentally two of the first things the Bolsheviks did after the October revolution).
