Though I disagree with directing blame at people based on their race this letter does reflect a legitimate concern about China.
COVID-19 is because of the CCP. It's their fault. Yellow people catching the flak for it are also the victims of the CCP drawing that ire toward their race. Particularly the propaganda campaign of them and their ideological allies such as the Democrats who want to deliberately conflate China with Chinese to make it a hate crime and prohibited to point the finger at China.
When they're saying they have to suppressed the fact that China did it so that orientals don't get the blame they themselves are spreading the blame onto orientals. When people say the truth like this they'll attack it by saying it's prohibited to use words like Chinese, China, oriental or yellow to make it impossible for people to say the truth. 1984 observed this phenomena and was based partly on it.
To put it concisely their logic is that you must not blame China (the CCP) so that Asians can escape blame. Their logic blames Asians. It is to blame them collectively for something they didn't all do then let them all off to be able to let off the ones who did do it.
This is a huge catastrophe inflicted on the world by the CCP. Imagine if Chernobyl were not just in Ukraine but every country was effected like that? Perhaps worse. The negative impact on people and their lives on a massive scale is beyond comprehension. Some people are going to lose it. Lives are lost, lives are ruined and the impact is worse than 911 or Pearl Harbour.
Monkey brains is believed to be how HIV arose in Africa and it is true that dirty unregulated cultures do cause these kinds of global catastrophes.
What's particularly unique about China is that they really have no excuse. Africa is a complete mess. China is ruled by people with a high degree of intelligence and education who know about the risks and have total control.
They take the risk on purpose to undercut the cost of their exports in a bid for world economic supremacy by stripping away any standards that might rise the price for their exports. In this case they force down the cost of living by not enforcing food hygiene standards allowing even lower wages and lower costs for running a factory.
Even if it's not from a laboratory (which it probably is) the origin of SARS-CoV-2 is almost certainly the result of a strategic decision by the CCP to take the risk to leverage their own economic goals, which are cheating the rest of the world out of things such as jobs.
Whether this letter is real or not it could be and when people are angry like this that shouldn't be dismissed just because they are taking it out on the wrong people. They are right to be angry the mistake here is who they're angry at.
