"White People" come from Japhet/Japheth/Japtetus, Chem/Shem's brother. "Blacks"/"Asians" come from Ham, also Chem/Shem's brother.

I believe the story to be a means of explaining these differences, and not the other way around. But allow for the possibility that I am a dumbass and all of the Noah stuff is totally real. :)
