That’s the issue. People don’t think. It amazes me how many people go through life just unaware of their surroundings.
Sometimes I wish I was like those people bc it gets tough worrying about the future when you’ve got millions domestically and billions globally that have no foresight and certainly no knowledge of the past. These are the people who allow civilization to fail while the rest of us sit back, almost helpless and watch.
Multinationals have no loyalty to here. They wouldn't care if they messed things up here. They would take their money and go. Fuck globalism and any company that turns its back on its home land.
Well my mom is an immigrant from Mexico, so that will explain a lot, especially her passion about the border crisis and "Kids in cages" shit that was being force fed to her by the MSM.
She doesn't know who anyone in congress is, really, and only knows about 1 of our state senators.
But she became a legal citizen in the late 80's and only very recently started voting. Her current husband is a staunch Democrat, so I put most of the blame on him for brainwashing her.
That’s fair. Although - speaking as a legal immigrant myself - if you love the country enough to come, go through the legal process and stay here, that you’d care enough to learn about how the country is run and who’s running it.
Problem is, she only came here because my dad was a US citizen and wanted to move back to Texas. They got married when he was living in Mexico working the oil fields.
He was the one who helped her apply and get her citizenship. She was a very ignorant person who cared very little about Politics until Obama came around. She fell for the whole charade because she does nothing but watch MSM. Her and her family who are here are all brainwashed, and its upsetting to see. Her sister and brother got vaccinated and posted that shit all over Facebook as a virtue signal. Hell, my mom got her vaccine shot recently because she fell for the propaganda.
Keep in mind, I don't hate my mom, she is a great mother and grandmother to my daughter, but holy shit, she is a normie from hell. Knowing what I know and trying to convince her otherwise has been a pain the ass, so I avoid politics all together when I'm around her.
