Agreed. I was simply talking about the timeframe. I have friends who aren’t citizens but moved here at a very young age, and they sound more American than some born here. So I was just pointing out that there CAN be a difference between that and what the tweet from OP is claiming.
That being said, I agree that the point is totally moot. I just also agree that we shouldn’t be stickying posts that have incorrect facts like that, as it just makes us easier to discredit, even if the spirit of the message is still ultimately correct.
Technically true. But what are you arguing? Best I can tell he was still not a US citizen and should not have been able to get a gun.
If he turns out to have been naturalized then your point holds more credence, but if he was not then your point is entirely moot.
