the dynamics of the planet are fluid. You're not losing coastline anywhere without gaining more somewhere else. There's only so much water/ocean on the planet and you're not making more just to raise the sea level. It goes down in one part of the world, goes up in another.

Not denying what you are saying, but can you give me a section of the US where I can see coastal erosion? I've been checking and haven't found any yet....
