What liberals fail to realize is that infringement on the 2nd amendment will destroy their Metropolitan Cityplex vision of the future. Contrary to their beliefs, gun ownership is the great unspoken equalizer that ensures people continue to live in urban areas. There's a ton of "secret" guns owned by quiet inner city liberals that serve as a last resort when the current or soon to be overwhelmed police don't arrive on time.
Ban guns and a good percentage of people will move far out of metropolitan areas. Their Covid 2020 play has proven that a good percentage of office workers can effectively work at home. There goes the need to pay big Central Business District rents or outrageous taxes if you own a building downtown. Lower big business landowner taxes means fewer city services which continues the snowball.
Meanwhile crime also moves further out, but this time with lower population density no one can hear the rural homeowner shoot the intruder and if they did they probably don't care to report it. As a result inner city police are overwhelmed with an avalanche of missing person reports as known criminals just sort of... disappear.
My guess is that this will probably happen all across rural America. Welcome to the New Wild West.
