And here's the ugly truth. The time to ban guns is LONG since passed. There are what? half a BILLION guns in circulation in the US? How many are going to be confiscated/turned in? How many more are going to flow into the states from Mexico on the black market? You cannot stop it. If someone is BENT on getting a firearm, they're going to get one and they're not going to give a fuck if it's legal or not.
Gun laws restrict those that would abide by them. Criminals don't give a shit about laws.
And okay, let's ban "High Capacity Magazines". How many were killed in that grocery store? 10? You can have 10 round magazines now. All it takes is one round to put someone in the ground. So it would have done nothing.
