I disagree. I observe kids that would otherwise be straight, turn gay after seeing the "cool" and "rebellious" and "attention gathering" life of the gay crowd. They see their flamboyant actions and style, and they see how they are praised and put on a pedestal by media and others in their school. They see how it makes them "cool" or "known". This is one thing that brings kids into gayness. Another, is after this stage, they learn how these gays are extremely sexually active and easy, as compared to straights they are around, and the sexual energy brings them further into it.
