I am using the term broadly, The vast majority of people living in those kinds of countries practice Islam and are referred to as Muslims so that you don’t have to list off the dozens of countries with majority muslim populations. And my point still stands, most Muslims are not terrorists, and many are more casual followers. They aren’t all devout extremists. You’re arguing semantics. My concern lies with the religion and its frequent bastardization. Just because something is in the quran does not mean every member follows it or believes in it. Do you think all Christians follow every rule laid out in the bible? God in the old testament was vengeful, destroyed cities, struck down non-believers for worshipping false idols, and murdered most of the world’s population with the great flood. The book of Leviticus is full of a bunch of absurd bullshit rules that only the most extreme Christians adhere to. Islam is also the only other religion that reveres Jesus, he isn’t necessarily considered to be the son of God by many Muslims but they at least consider him a prophet and God’s chosen holy servant.

Think about when the media talks about Christianity. Are they showing your everyday average Christian? Nope its always the whackjobs like the Westboro Baptist Church or some doomsday cult. They do the same shit to Muslims.
