I think this count is the registered sales of modern weapons, but there are still automatic weapons from the pre-1980s, like Uzi's were popular in private collections[Remember Miami Vice?], along with [suppressed firing] thompson machine guns that were used by moonshiners, in the 1920 prohibition.

Full autos around 1900. No full auto sales to civilians after 1986. How many are on the registry? Those will be confiscated first.
