The KKK was founded and created in Pulaski, Tennessee, by Confederate veterans and Democrat Party loyalists: Frank McCord, Richard Reed, John Lester, John Kennedy, J. Calvin Jones and James Crowe. All registered demoKKKrats. Not the party of Abraham Lincoln.
Nathan Bedford Forrest was a lieutenant general in the Confederate Army during the American Civil War. He was a leading Southern advocate in the postwar years. He was a pledged delegate from Tennessee to the New York Democratic National Convention of 4 July 1868. He served as the first Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan.
According to History.com:
"The KKK engaged in terrorist raids against African Americans and white Republicans at night, employing intimidation, destruction of property, assault, and murder to achieve its aims and influence upcoming elections."
The Ku Klux Klan aimed to influence elections AGAINST the Republican party. The KKK was a political tool used by Democrats to help the Democratic Party win elections.
Only 69% of Democrats in the Senate voted for the Civil Rights Act, while 82% of Republican Senators voted for it. Hillary Clinton's mentor, Robert Byrd, filibustered against it.
Jim Crow laws were passed by Democrat legislators. The Reconstruction era ended with a compromise in 1877 when Republicans agreed to pull out troops from the Democrat controlled South, which considered itself the “party of the white man.” Democrats began to reassert white supremacy by passing laws that infringed upon the rights of blacks and enforced strict segregation. This was their way of countering the 1875 Civil Rights Act which was passed by REPUBLICANS.
Also, noteworthy, is that several BLACK REPUBLICANS were elected to Congress at that time. The early great black leaders were strong black Republicans such as Frederick Douglas.
DemoKKKrats locked up Martin Luther King Jr. in Birmingham. Dr. Alveda C. King: “My grandfather, Dr. Martin Luther King, Sr., or ‘Daddy King’,was a Republican and father of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. who was a Republican.”
DemoKKKrats claim the parties switched in the 1960's. This is not true. For every single racist white demoKKKrat politician that switched to the Republican party, I can name at least three racist white demoKKKrats who maintained loyalty to the demoKKKrat party. DemoKKKrats have "southern strategies" they utilize every single election cycle to court voters in the South. The South did not become desegregated until AFTER Republicans won political offices and did away with segregation.
DemoKKKrats such as Joe Biden supported segregation and did not want to bus black children to mostly white schools. Hillary Clinton called a former KKK Leader her "mentor." Even Bill Clinton called former segregationist J. William Fulbright his mentor. So three of the last four DemoKKKrat candidates for President either support segregation or were mentored by mentors who did. And even Hussein Obama has slave owning ancestors and made more black Americans enslaved to government welfare during his administration, lowered median black household income, and impoverished millions of black Americans who were unable to prosper during his administration.
DemoKKKrats are tearing down the statues of Republican Abolitionists and trying to tear down and erase evidence of the racists in their own political party.
Of the 26 known Dixiecrats (5 governors and 21 senators) only three ever became Republicans: Strom Thurmond, Jesse Helms and Mills E. Godwind, Jr. The segregationists in the Senate, on the other hand, would return to their DemoKKKrat party and fight against the Civil Rights acts of 1957, 1960 and 1964. Republican President Dwight Eisenhower proffered the first two Acts." The political parties NEVER switched.
The last two demoKKKrat candidates for President admitted they were Protégés of a KKK Leader.
DemoKKKrat Robert Byrd admitted that he started a Klan chapter in the 1940s, drawing in 150 members to the Klan, and attained the position of "Exalted Cyclops".
"Today our country has lost a true American original, my friend and mentor Robert C. Byrd." -Hillary Clinton 2010
Byrd, the second-ranking DemoKKKrat in the Senate from 1971 to 1976 and the DemoKKKrat leader from 1977 to 1988, wrote as a young man in 1945 to segregationist Mississippi senator Theodore Bilbo that Byrd would never fight in the armed forces “with a Negr0 by my side.” He remained a demoKKKrat until 2010 when the old racist demoKKKrat finally died.
Rather I should die a thousand times, and see old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels.” - DemoKKKrat Robert Byrd, Biden's mentor
Joe Biden eulogized Byrd, too, as “a dear friend . . . a mentor . . . and a guide” whom he “revered” and also as the “most fierce defender of not only the state, but the way of life” of West Virginia.
Joe Biden argued that “the DemoKKKrat Party could stand a liberal George Wallace — someone who’s not afraid to stand up and offend people, someone who wouldn’t pander but would say what the American people know in their gut is right.” Wallace, who was then gearing up to run for president again in 1976, was known for his breakaway Dixiecrat campaign in 1968 and his mantra of “Segregation now, segregation forever!”
Joe Biden went on to try to maintain segregated busing and to lock up as many black men as possible to life sentences in prison with a 3 strikes rule. He also pushes gun control which disproportionately leads to the arrest and incarceration of young black men.
