Any higher the grip starts to poke into my ribs. It's comfortable and easily accessible where it's at. Conceals easier than if it was higher up and doesn't print as much.
Carried for many years like this never a problem.
They're kinda appendix carry. I can reach no problem with off hand while maintaining on target. Also if left arm is damaged i can still pull mags with my right and reload while gun is holstered and redraw.

Interesting. Spare mags on the draw side? I go off hand for mags so I can maintain dominant hand grip on the gun while grabbing a mag.

Gotcha. Wasn’t meaning to criticize, by the way. I find different carry styles interesting. I figure everyone has a reason for doing it their way.
An instructor brought the damaged arm reload scenarios and weak arm scenarios into his training. Milage varies for everyone.
