I remember years back when I was on reddit people (myself included) would use browser plugins when deleting an account that would edit all of your old posts, replace the text with gibberish, and then delete it. A number of subs had bots to detect this and ban a user for it and the admins were on the record as opposing that behavior. I guess its one of those do as we say not as we do things.
Yeah it's absolutely disturbing the way these underhanded tech oligarchs and their cronies are creating synthetic world where double standards can be leveled against you and then you can be canceled, while they scrub anything against themselves from reality.
There is absolutely cold civil war going on, and most people are completely blind to it, but subconsciously following orders so as not to be "canceled".
Need to use Chrome. Rarely use that browser but nuked my main and alt Reddit accounts some time ago. Takes a fair number of minutes to nuke an account with a bunch of history.
May need to run a few times per account as it may only nuke 1000 posts per shot.
Believe its still possible, but those addons tended to break frequently. If you search around you can probably find a working addon. Its not 100% known if it does anything though. Nobody besides the admins know if they actually store versions of comments, and if so how many and for how long. I did it every few months just because I didn't want to ever get doxxed or followed in any capacity, and I figured if I was mass deleting I would also mass-edit at the same time just in case it helped.
I hope its just a platform where he (and others he deems worthy) can use to get their message out to the people and get feedback from the people. Social Media is a cancer on society and the last thing we need is a conservative version of twitter or facebook to warp conservatives into the brainwashed idiots you see on liberal platforms.
They do this so that the data cannot be recovered. This is how you are supposed to delete your account using scripts that clean your comments before deletion. It's pretty clear they aren't going to get rid of this steaming pile of garbage anytime soon...unless China doesn't approve all of a sudden.
The Pedophiles are Angry.
The light is shining on the cockroaches
Good. Means we are over the target
"I have never seen this before. They actually edited out the comment."
First time?
They've seen it before, they've just never seen it happen to THEM.
Reap the whirlwind.
Can I just take a moment to say what a smarmy, pathetic, circle jerk of vile leftist shits Reddit has become?

I've used that app.

Is it possible to still do that?
I would like to delete my old account.

Have rarely used/posted there since.
You don't need chrome. You can use Brave.
Indeed. Just never got around to deleting mine.

It’s always been that way.
These faggots didn't browse the donald and it shows.
I hope President Trump's planned social media is decentralized and not a cloned fork of existing platforms.

space force social media network with it's own military satellites... with lasers attached to their... wherever.
Remember when Spez swore it would never happen again?
When a leftist gives their word, you can never trust them because they are godless whores with no Bible to swear on or God to hold them accountable.
