"I have never seen this before. They actually edited out the comment."

First time?

They've seen it before, they've just never seen it happen to THEM.

Reap the whirlwind.

Can I just take a moment to say what a smarmy, pathetic, circle jerk of vile leftist shits Reddit has become?

I remember years back when I was on reddit people (myself included) would use browser plugins when deleting an account that would edit all of your old posts, replace the text with gibberish, and then delete it. A number of subs had bots to detect this and ban a user for it and the admins were on the record as opposing that behavior. I guess its one of those do as we say not as we do things.

I've used that app.

Yeah it's absolutely disturbing the way these underhanded tech oligarchs and their cronies are creating synthetic world where double standards can be leveled against you and then you can be canceled, while they scrub anything against themselves from reality.

There is absolutely cold civil war going on, and most people are completely blind to it, but subconsciously following orders so as not to be "canceled".

Is it possible to still do that?

I would like to delete my old account.

Nuke Reddit addon.

Need to use Chrome. Rarely use that browser but nuked my main and alt Reddit accounts some time ago. Takes a fair number of minutes to nuke an account with a bunch of history.

May need to run a few times per account as it may only nuke 1000 posts per shot.

Have rarely used/posted there since.

Believe its still possible, but those addons tended to break frequently. If you search around you can probably find a working addon. Its not 100% known if it does anything though. Nobody besides the admins know if they actually store versions of comments, and if so how many and for how long. I did it every few months just because I didn't want to ever get doxxed or followed in any capacity, and I figured if I was mass deleting I would also mass-edit at the same time just in case it helped.
