Keep in mind that the person thinks these protestors are from Ohio, Nebraska etc (read: republican states) but I can tell you 100% that the protestors are far-left California liberal idiots.

I can sympathize with his anger but he is looking in the wrong direction if he thinks the problem stems from anywhere else other than his own liberal led state.

The level of delusion is amazing, isn't it? These are the type of people that get all their news from facebook and twitter.

You can always find someone else to blame your problems on. It's not until you're willing to admit your own faults that you can truly change anything.

Yup and libs have been blaming everyone else except themselves for the problems they've created.

That was my immediate thought. Those protesters aren't from red states. Yeah right.

Naw, the Ohio college kids graduate and bring their hipster attitudes to the west coast.

I know several

If Cali didn't have so many illegals and let foreigners purchase so much real estate, there would be more affordable housing available, but they don't care.

"let's put them in a giant facility in the desert that provides health services, food, and transportation"

Why does this sound like a prison?

IMO, I think that is actually a good idea. Places like LA already have implemented tax increases to "solve" the homeless problems (most of the money right now is just being scammed off by special interest groups - go figure). Building a facility in the desert is a good idea actually. Just use methods that were developed by the military for housing troops in the desert. Start with military tents and expand until enough beds are created. After that you can build facilities.

It wouldn't be a prison if the homeless could voluntarily leave. Most will just stay there though because free housing, free food and so on. I would rather have my tax money going to this instead of some stupid war overseas.

The protestors are also most likely from your own city. Silly boy.

Denial is a hell of a drug.

L.A. is pretty fucked up. Can confirm. Borderline Mad Max. Not even joking.

Hollyweirdness 4 points ago +4 / -0

At this stage protesting is a profession among some people. There are people being paid to agitate and protest.

4
TheTudes 4 points ago +4 / -0

let's just be honest with one another for just a moment

homelessness is not a housing problem

homelessness is a mental health and drug problem

until we address the drug and mental health problems we will never get a handle on the "housing" problem

but it is really great to know that china and mexico can run all the drugs they want into this country now that we have completely open borders

this last statement is more than just sarcasm but shear rage

james43552352345 [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yup completely agree.

2
TheTudes 2 points ago +2 / -0

Also there is huge money made off people living in poverty and the homeless

Enough people are making bank “helping”these people so there is no incentive to end the gravy train

This is why I prefer to live in cities that can easily get to -44F or lower in the winter. Kills off the junkies.

lmao that is one benefit I guess!

Lol from the same thread:

"I don’t know what the answer is to the homelessness in LA. I do however know that two specific individuals currently living in a tent city 1/2 block from my house tried to break into our bedroom with a claw hammer at 430am. Every bit of it is on video. I don’t view these individuals as the “enemy” broadly, but I challenge everyone to consider how they would deal with this situation. Compassion? Fight or flight? Buy a gun like the police suggested when they showed up 2 hours later? Beyond that, the LAPD refused to do anything. They wouldn’t even look at the video or write a police report until we called the Sr. Lead Officer for the area.

They are still living there to this day. Burglaries are way up in the surrounding area. One of them frequently threatens people with machetes and there have been a half dozen garages burned out within 200 yards of their camp.

Another guy, also living on the same corner, broke into our home via the front window at 7pm. He was naked, completely incoherent, bloody, out of his mind. We were in the living room and chased him away. Again, the LAPD shows up hours later and does nothing. No report. Again they give a speech about protecting your home and right to use force but be sure they ‘make it past the threshold’. What?

The camp on the corner is a drive through drug operation with cars coming through every few minutes at night as well as a bicycle chop shop. Homeless support groups show up with food a few times a week and nothing changes except the camp gets bigger and 7 homes on our block have been burglarized in a month."

😂😂😂😂

Wonder what his comment history is. Probably the same type of tard that says how great CA is and how awful it must be to live in a red state.

3
Fluffy_Indigo 3 points ago +3 / -0

After they get raped in their own home a few times maybe they'll buy a gun and consider changing their politics lol

These people are idiots.

3
_Sully_ 3 points ago +3 / -0

The cops are giving you the answer. Their hands are tied. Keep voting for it retard. And they will, that's what's so crazy. They will vote themselves into homelessness themselves. There is reason this shit is called a cancer. Unless you cut it out it will just keep growing.

At first I was like "Bullshit! No Nebraskan would ever protest getting rid of homeless" but then I remembered all the dipshit liberals that couldn't wait to get out of our "shit hole state" and move to cali. Sucks to suck. I remember visiting my great uncle in Gardena back when it wasn't sketchy at all. Fuck all the libs and fuck LA. You get what you deserve

I heard Cartman jumped over like 40 homeless people with a skateboard.

TLDR; “I want to put them in a concentration camp, but problematic white supremacists won’t let me.”
