Ohioans are cheering because the legislature is telling DeWine he had no authority to do a lot of what he did, not because someone who took our rights is giving them back. It took them a year longer than they should have, but they are taking the proper action against DeWine's tyranny.
The fucking shit of it is, if this goes to the Ohio Supreme Court, his son will be a part of the decision. Our fucking governor (who was the AG in OH) has a son as an Ohio Supreme Court justice. Seems about right.
This shit should be limited to ONE immediate family member at a time. If you have a father/mother/son/daughter/brother/sister in office at any level, you can fuck off. And to anyone who says judges aren't political...LOL.
No. There are millions of eligible and qualified people from other families that can fill the role. There is no need for a single family to have so much power in our government. It can lead to nothing but negative consequences.
He doesn't have to be a judge, he can continue as a lawyer instead. Or his father can fuck off and allow the son to step into politics. There should not be multiple people from the same family in politics at the same time. I would even go so far as to say it needs to be 1 generation removed. If your father was in politics, your son/daughter can go into politics. You cannot.
