It is a real letdown when someone you admire or like goes left. Bruce has always been political but I didn't pay much attention to it but when it was directed solely at our President I couldn't take it anymore. Same with DeNiro.

Yea, old school but I do have to say I've taken a liking to Tom MacDonald.
Not that it's old school, I'm old school but Springstein? My mom likes to Springstein and she's 70.
I don't know if you consider Zepplin/Bowie old school then I fall somewhere in that boat. But if it is good music I give it a listen but the days of playing songs for hours on end are over. His music was ok but his lyrics had a way of seeing it in your mind and it just felt like he was speaking to America and the common man's struggles. He could write the same lyrics again but it just wouldn't resonate because he has gone too far left and this new left is counter to what the old Democratic party stood for.
Definitely loved Zepplin. Never was a fan of Bowie's music but I thought he was good in Labyrinth and the Prestige. There's not one song by Springstein that's any good imo. That's just my opinion and I'm not a musician or anything.
