Pilots and aspiring ones listen to flight audio for fun and for training purposes. Becoming mic shy is a real issue with pilots, especially when just starting out. I was one of those that said, psshhh, I ain't afraid of no mic and then I was tasked with notifying the tower of my intentions and the flight instructor even told me exactly what to say, pressed the button and ............. I couldn't even remember the tail number and it was literally right in front of me on the dash.
It's just fear of sounding like an idiot. When I was training it was a rural flight school and there was no atc, just the guy who ran the airport and the pilots who were nearby to hear your intentions.
Non towered airports are fun, especially when you are relying on other pilots to state their intentions and they fail to do so, or say they are somewhere they aren't.
My school is in a very busy D, about 10 miles from a B. Every flight, you can hear tower, TRACON, and 141 pilots all sighing. It’s the absolute least inviting place for students, lol. I’m going commercial, and I enjoy it, now, while going out to the uncontrolled areas puts me on edge.
Unfortunately, no matter how factual it is, they will find a way to pull his license and ban him from every flying again due to the vulgar language.

Guys get caught drunk at mainline and they just go through training and get some pto. Unions are ridiculous in the crap they cover up and the crap they shovel off on the pilots.
I thought that was a much bigger issue and was one of the things that could get you fired from the mainlines. I know there were some alcoholic pilots suing the union and things like the hotel deals with cheap drinks would get removed as a result, screwing over the pilots that had discipline.

The 2011-18 Sonatas drink oil like there is no tomorrow (I had a 2013 Limited).... I've got a 2020 Elantra now, and I actually really like it.
The sonatas were garbage. I had them as rentals and liked little things about them, but the old ones were anything other than sporty. The Elantras were fun little things with good storage space and I never minded them. They don't make bad cars, but I can understand some posters mocking them as most cars while very good aren't something to be excited about as reliability, features and comfort aren't the sexiest.

The Koreans can build fine, reliable cars and there are some that are sporty, but since Kia and Hyundai are the same company I lump the sportier Kia offerings in with the Hyundais as well as the Stinger doesn't look too bad at all and the 300 to 368 hp is pretty respectable.
Also chick car doesn't mean bad car, Miatas are 100% hairdresser cars but are also fucking awesome to drive.

I miss Oldsmobile and GM's been on my shit list since the bailout and how they continue to outsource production to Mexico and China in spite of the bailout we paid for and never were repaid entirely for. You can go look at the NHTSA and see the domestic content of every car by year and sadly the Japanese cars and models from Toyota and Honda are some of the most American made. Those Chevrolet and GMC pickups are often more Mexican than American and it disgusts me how few options I have for American made cars any more, but that's usually the top of the list in what I look for in a car.
I had a gold Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. Drove it for years until it overheated a ton. I remember how stressful it would be every time I’d be stopped at a light, watching that dial creep from Cool to Hot.

They are idiots if they think electric engines will ever work on airplanes. The performance of airplanes is extremely sensitive to weight, as you must know. The CEO of Airbus once said that if batteries were something like 10 times as energy dense as they are know, they could build an A320 with maybe half the range and payload as the current aircraft. Electric motors are hilariously inappropriate for aircraft and will always be grossly inferior.
