Like any logical person, Mike is assuming inarguable evidence is all you need, and once it's in the public, nobody can deny it. But that's a bit naive in the modern US. A vast majority of the people will blindly follow the spin media outlets put on anything. For those people the truth is defined for them by establishmentarians. The media will largely ignore the evidence and attack Mike's character, making shit up if needed. In other words, regardless of your mountain of evidence, at least half the country will never believe it, under any circumstances.

To quote Yuri Bezmenov, "You can show them incontrovertible evidence and they still won't believe you. They will only wake up when the gulag guard's boot is on THEIR neck, and then it's too late."
