Wait a minute. Just last week I was hearing how awful Asian women have it? Now I find out they are making more than all the other women? What? These narratives are colliding and it’s confusing! They make 87 cents, which is more than other women, yet Asian Lives Matter and they are so oppressed?

They also neglected to mention that young women earn more than young men on average. Their pay disparities only arise when women willfully chose to leave the workforce to have kids and raise a family.
