For a specific example, Nigerian Americans, that is, Nigerians who come here, outperform blacks born here. They have a lower tendency of being involved in criminal activity, they tend to be religious, and they have less broken families. I use Nigerians as an example, because they are fairly easy to distinguish: they tend to be Christian, they tend to be very charitable, they are soft-spoken, and possess a self-reliant work ethic.
