I don’t know why I saw this 20 some years ago. As a teenager. The shit they talked about, and glorified on TV and movies, like why did every female character work in fashion? And spend their entire life at work? I always wanted to get married and have kids, none of what I was fed sounded glamorous at all. In fact it sounded miserable. Even my teachers liked to hype up the “career woman” trope. Yawn. (I’m all for women having a choice, and I myself work, but i definitely felt the message. You should want MORE than family. Just give yourself over to a corporate hamster wheel. You’ll be happier. 😕)
