Brett Kavanaugh's remarks are frightening. It sounds as though he's trying to figure out a legal fig leaf to cover this blatantly unconstitutional idea.

If this goes through, an anonymous call saying someone is at risk of suicide is all it would take for the police to break in, search a home, and seize all of the weapons.
