I run my own Searx install. I did the same search in news and it reads like DdG and Bing. Take control of your searches and privacy!

As someone who works for Microsoft, the whole company is cucked. As of right now from the public perspective, they're doing somewhat well appearing neutral but with the internal culture shift to diversity and inclusion, it's only a matter of time before the products being produced are a result of the cancerous culture of the workplace.

Does DDG use bing for search results? I’ve used DDG since 2017, I scrubbed all woke-tech after Trump took office.
DDG has it's own crawlers, and also uses bing for refining results. You can disable that option via their settings section. It only uses a 1st party cookie for all that stuff.

You can set your default browser search in settings, get away from google.
