It's probably a white woman's idea trying to compete against white men for resources. Over time the idea devolved into something so deformed you can't even recognize what it is anymore.

I looked back at the First and Second Wave of Feminism. I identified very quickly all the "Boston Marriages" and Bitter Shrews and Upper Middle Class Holier-than-Thou Vanity Signalers, the same personality types as today.
