I think the most impact you'll get from the boards is information on which senator we're supposed to be war-dialing, and where there might be a massive rally.

Otherwise it serves mostly as an encouragement-conduit (and information source). For real action, people need to start building cells in their geographic community. That means running the risk of doxxing yourself. I recommend a new post about your general geographic region, and then inviting people within your state (or an hour's drive of your city if its a big state) PMing the OP. Then the OP can respond with a freshly created Email address. Then communication can continue elsewhere. But OP (and any joiner) should be suspicious of everyone until they have put in some time, and preferably until they've met in person. The communication list being managed and purging those that never show in person. And other sensible precautions. Thus... moving your primary 'activism' off-site and into your local group (which can then focus on local issues aswell).
