There's a better way than 'overthrowing the govt'. Ignore them. Utterly ignore them.
They have zero enforcement power against the states at present. They can try limited actions - but against dozens of states - it's moot. Look at pot. It wasn't a compromise reached with DC - it was actions taken by multiple states in the face of DC.
Several states (including AZ) have laws to ignore and prevent enforcement of any 'federal gun control laws'. I say run the whole smash. Ignore everything and stop sending material and supplies to the military and other federal agencies. Support your state or local govt - to hell with the rest.
Starve them out or ignore them.
(btw - it's very easy to zero out your taxes or elect to pay them non-quarterly with zero deductions from your paycheck. It'll cause havoc with the GAO. If you can't vote what good is it anyway?)
They only have as much power as you give them. Stop giving it.
This. Secure your local safety and work outward from there. If we have any cohesion it will spread wide enough that you can survive. Make DC irrelevant.
