Legally, that's not entrapment. At least no judge will agree it is.

If they said "Lets go burn down the whitehouse" and you said "hell yeah" .... that's not entrapment.

If they said "Lets go burn down the whitehouse" and you said "I'd rather not" and they said "Burn it down or I'll burn down the whitehouse and yourhouse" - that's entrapment.

They've basically neutered it so it only counts if you're forced into it. If they suspect you would have done something on your own, or with other likeminded people, they can get away with it.

....I read up on this a lot in my street racing days, because cops would pull up to fast cars in unmarked units and rev at them.
