And every year we are threatened with SS going broke yet the gov has unlimited money to give away to illegal aliens.

Just print more! Nothing ever bad comes from doing that!

(gives a sidelong view towards Zimbabwe)

I was talking to my parents, who said they are fine because they're retired now and biden is only increasing taxes on people who make 400k. I had to explain how Biden is also printing boatloads of cash and their retirement accounts are being "taxed". They just got uncomfortable and changed the topic.

Chinese_spy2 9 points ago +9 / -0

Plus, that "Biden promise" keeps changing...

  • Began as 400k per person
  • Then 400k per household
  • Then 200k per household (allegedly)

Just like the $2000 check is now a $1400 check is now a <checks letter> $200 check, at least in my case. Anyone who doesn't see this bullshit coming is intentionally blind.

How did that even happen? My impression was that it was all or nothing. Either you made less than the requirement and got a stimulus, or you made more and didn’t get it. Never heard about it being on any type of scale.

2
DiscoverAFire 2 points ago +2 / -0

It was supposed to scale down between 100k and 75k, but they changed it and it now scales down between 78k and 75k now? Maybe?

And of course none of this was reported in the media.

1
Forbidden_outcast 1 point ago +1 / -0

I thought it was $75k for single=$1400, $150k for married=$2800, and $1400 per kid. This is what my family members received.

They did come in separate payments though. Half deposited a week ago and the remainder yesterday

Edit: not sure if these could be garnished. From what I read a private company could garnish, but not federal or state- student loans, child support, etc. some states put in protections to allow zero garnishments.

They're fine, so nothing else matters.

That mentality has destroyed this country.

4
DiscoverAFire 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yeah, they used to have that protestant fire in them but they're comfortable now. It's kinda sad.

Isn't that how it works, let's just print 80 Trillion and pay off our debt.

Smurfection 13 points ago +13 / -0

So true. I used to believe the Mitt Romney/Paul Ryan and George W. Bush thing about reorganizing SS but then I realized, I would never get a benefit for this. Those RINO Republicans have done thing to protect and defend the SS recipients we already have over illegal aliens and immigrants and others that cash in "on the system." They don't even go after obvious low hanging fruit like fraud, for instance when illegal aliens claim many dependents (conveniently the dependents don't have SS#'s) for the child tax credit. Why would I think they would revamp SS to help out the average retiree or actually disabled person who can't function well or get a job.

Those people are mostly white and the current communism regime is anti-white, so it isn't really a shocker at all.

Ironlabel1 17 points ago +17 / -0

And I work 40 hours a week and currently make less than a refugee

7
AbsoluteChad 7 points ago +7 / -0

Do they even offer a reason why? I’m curious as to what non-offensive reason they could come up with for this.

4
tom_machine 4 points ago +4 / -0

Who would ever ask them to? The popular press is fucking cucked beyond recognition. If you post anything remotely against the left you get censored on social media.

Just as the USA sends billions of dollars to Israel every year...

  • Stop the needless foreign spending when there are Americans suffering and more entitled to aid.
  • America FIRST!!!

Smurfection 5 points ago +7 / -2

Also, refugees get medicaid, rent assistance etc. I don't begrudge this to refugees but its the fact that many Americans live in areas that have just as much violence, are subject to the same oppression (look at the families that have gone through family courts in Missouri) but there's no assistance for them. Most refugees that are let in would be better off if they were helped in their own nations or countries nearby and not brought to the U.S. Also, despite the high cost of admitting refugees, its not as if refugees necessarily have it better here. They are usually settled in high crime urban areas, are basically put in a house/apartment and left on their own. Despite programs that cooperate with the government, most of them end up having a horrible experiences when they first come to the U.S. Also, our government just expects communities in which they plunk down a bunch of refugees to start catering to the refugees and helping them out and the fact of the matter is, there are enough people and families in those communities that need assistance and help and the communities start to resent the refugees.

The federal government is fully globalist-communist.

The first step to dismantling communism is to stop funding it.

That's some udder bullshit. If our social security was invested into the market, we would be literal millions by the time we retired, but no, we get some shitty lil paycheck.

TexasTrue 2 points ago +2 / -0

What’s the source on this? What a disaster!

2
Terrysilver35 2 points ago +2 / -0

Is there a source on the refugee benefit $ amount? I want to share this.

2
cutefroggy 2 points ago +2 / -0

SS will run out soon. If you're close to rose who rely on it make a plan.

2
mikethemarine 2 points ago +2 / -0

Is that per person or per family? I know that doesn't matter but I would like to know how much money would be saved for each one of them that was permanently removed or died

2
LoobintheToobin 2 points ago +2 / -0

$1400 is an over estimate

2
stay_mad_45 2 points ago +2 / -0

and if you're so disabled you legitimately can't work you get $735/mo, if you're lucky.

1
Logan_W_Logan 1 point ago +1 / -0

I’d like to see a source on this

1
daisytrench 1 point ago +1 / -0

wait, what? And here I am worrying about my retirement! How long do these refugee benefits continue?

1
residue69 1 point ago +1 / -0

And Social Security is taxed, while I'll bet "refugee benefits" aren't.

I'm overseas in a third-world country stuck without a penny. No tourists=no jobs. No local jobs, no money to employ foreigners. I just got the first stimulus check a month ago. Can't get unemployment, can't fly home unless I get the $1400 stim.

It's been joked about, but I'm seriously thinking of flying into Cancun, tossing my US passport in the ocean, and walk across the border claiming to be Guatemalan--even though I'm 6'4" and resemble Dolph Lundgren.

All I gotta do to get the $2k+ is speak Spanish only? I should probably buy a kid from the cartel to bring across, right?

Again, how am I not a slave when the fruits of my labor are taken from me against my will to support others with no way of escaping and under threat of violence?

WE ARE SLAVES
