My dad was JUST telling me about black bike week in Daytona... Cause he used to go to the plain bike week...
Said many places shutdown all week. Many restaurant workers said they shut down one year, and the city tried to force them to open haha.

Black bike week lead to TONS of dine and dashing, trouble inside venues, violence, trash everywhere, other nasty shit.
So yeah, I've heard black bike week isn't a good place to be, which is why good black bikers don't go to it, and join everyone else for the more white bike week.

My fiance's dad before he passed was a biker for 50 some odd years. He went to all the big bike shows for decades. He said many times thst black bike week made all bikers look bad and the city it is in covers up all kinds of crime when they're in town.
