Following the massage parlor shooting, The Home Depot stands in solidarity with pacific islanders/asians! Officially, they have made the following statement:
"Associates can send suggestions to [email protected] with ideas that would impact the company and how to implement the idea. Associates must include their name, how and why their suggestion willimpact the company, and a breif explanation of how they think the idea should be implemented."
I thought you pedes would have plenty of suggestions on implementing diversity and equity! Be sure to let them know what you think if anthing comes to mind!
Well that was fun. I sent them a suggestion:
"My suggestion is: don't be stupid. You are a very successful big box store selling all kinds of things for the home. You are not a social justice warrior and no one expects you to be. Stay out of the miasma. It will only go badly for you. Don't be stupid.
You're welcome!"
I hope they dont do something stupid with this. It's the only hardware store that aren't maskholes in my area
So we need to point out white men are the only demographic not given diversity points.
Guess who does the most home improvement work in the US, and is therefore the key driver of Home Depot's success? It's white men.
