One day when I was young, some 50 years ago, I needed to rush to the bathroom, due to eating to many prunes, upon completion, I realized, their was no toilet paper, to my amazement, I had no running water as well, as the well ran dry the previous year, so I decided, my best next plan, would be to drip dry, then upon realizing, it wasn't wet to a point of drip dry, I then decided to just allow it to naturally dry, then when it did, I flaked it off, so 's it wouldn't make my under wear smell, as I knew, I needed to wear them for another week.
