As a joke I applied for a job at McKinsey, lying that I was a FTM Transman in my cover letter. I got an interview with them despite not having an Ivy league MBA. I only have a bachelors degree from a third rate school. McKinsey is considered one of the hardest places to get a job at. In Modern Day Corporate America, woke points are more important than your education / experience.

Trans Privilege is REAL.

Just put prefer not to answer for gender and race. And when in doubt you can be hispanic and/or masculine presenting trans lesbian

This is the way. If you want to sow the seeds, list membership in a minority rights group that might apply to you on your resume. If you're white and male, list a trans rights or LBGT group on your resume, then check "choose not to respond" to the demographic questions.

The interviewers will draw their own conclusions. Lying about being a FTM trans person might get you an interview, but when you're not a disfigured mentally ill person at the interview they will realize the lie and not hire you.

I wouldn’t be too preemptive because some workplaces are still based

Some workplaces might see what xhe did, and approve.

Now they meet the government quota, they don't have to work with an asshole and get sued every week, and they have plausible deniability and a fall guy.
