2 possibilities:

  • Stop going to stupid conferences.

  • Organize your own "technical merit only" conference, but wait for people to complain and try to deplatform you.

Where this all started:

Adria Richards was near two delegates who joked about "big dongles" and used a technical term - forking repos - in what she felt was a sexual way.

She complained to the conference organisers and one of the men was fired by his company, a sponsor of the event.

Conferences are long dead. I will never go to another one.

Well at least there are ALWAYS people ready to fork shit when the company/institution gets overrun by mentally retarded degenerates. But we forget that these mentally ill individuals make up a very very very small percentage of people in these groups. Its simply the squeaky wheel that makes the most noise. So the problem(or part of it) is that well known institutions/companies buy into and sell this woke garbage. But its the professionals that keep their head in the game and focus on whats important. Not these emotional mentally retarded attention seeking toddlers. They can't code, they can't fit in, they won't succeed. As far as something like c++ or other languages they will not be overrun by these degenerate losers. Linux won't either. But what's important now is that we take an actual stand against this garbage. I do not comprise my beliefs and/or work standards for these "people" that have zero emotional intelligence. I pay no attention to their "cries" but I am well aware of where they are.
