Gun control laws disproportionately lead to the arrests of black men. I never heard a Republican politician actually make this point and go with it to get more PRO-2nd Amendment support among non-whites.
I agree, I want a constitutional amendment mandating firearm purchasing must have fewer restrictions than voting. If you want background checks for firearm purchases, background checks for voting too then.
After the Civil War, blacks weren't allowed to buy guns in the south, it was the NRA that stepped in to help fight for their rights in court to buy guns and they also granted money to blacks to start their own gun shops.
If the Democrats believe that it's racist to force everyone to require an ID to vote, then why don't they give a $150 grant to people who struggle to cover the cost to get an ID(I know that ID can be free, but I am referring to an ACLU study that shows exterior costs)?
Seriously, no matter what anyone thinks of the ACLU, their high end estimates were around 4billion to give everyone in America ID. They just spent 1.9 trillion, AOC/Warren want to spend $500 billion, yet they refuse to provide relief so people can go out of their way to get ID.

So she said she would provide transportation to anyone in the state who needs to get an ID.
Eventually I think Republicans lost in court because of cucked judges and the ID wasn't absolutely required. Although, most poll workers asked for them.
Requiring masks to buy groceries is racist too. How is a black person supposed to afford a mask if they can’t even afford an ID and don’t know how to get to the DMV? What if they can’t make a mask out of their shirt because it’s the only shirt they own?
