People can say the specifics of this case merit a more complex answer, but I have read everything on this case and what @4cdarth says is absolutely true. The precedent would be that police can violate due process to violate the 2nd amendment.
Yep, that's the biggest issue I see, and also with the red flag laws. It violates one's Due Process to steal their 2nd ammendment rights, only to then use the courts to get back their rights that was unconstitutional taken from them as their right to due process was violated.
