I'm atheist too, but I loathe the atheist community.

Like a decade back, Atheists of America sued the Utah State Patrol over a cross that was put up for a fallen officer. They responded they would put up any memorial for any fallen officer, including an atom. Not about the service but the person behind it. AA continued with their suit. That was my red pill moment. Bunch of fedora wearing incels.

I am so pleased to know that there are other atheists online like myself. I was never able to connect with any on other sites. It was always more of the same old mouth-frothing garbage. Any attempt to attack faith was acceptable to them on ideological grounds, and I felt such disgust from it.

You and LSC who also responded to you have renewed my belief that I am not alone.

Thanks man. This is like my 40th account here cause I always lose passwords. 😂 but I've seen a ton like us in here! I think right wing atheists are like us, we've just never organized.

For people that claim to be so logical and good at debate, they really don't understand that comparing someone's philosophical keystone (God) to a flying spaghetti monster is incredibly combative, rude, and is only going to make their listener entrench even harder. No logic in that.

I agree! I view the whole situation as a question of moral value. I have always thought that faith is not a bad thing on its own. If it compels those who believe to act with charity, kindness, and brotherhood, then it has value even if I don't believe in it myself.

There is a difference between criticizing the strictures of a faith when it instructs men to act unjustly and mocking it for the satisfaction of one's ego.
