BUT, my best friend, while undergoing chemo and marrow transplant, suffered irreversible lung damage...and any upper respiratory event - even the common cold - is problematic. She has her Pulmonary MD on speed dial.
She cannot wear a mask, but does wear a face shield, in case someone sneezes on her. Besides, she knows masks do NOT protect you from virus, so she does the best she can.
