Never going to happen. They would never be able to find a lawyer and if they did their case would be dismissed. All those families would also lose whatever employment they had and anyone that tried to help them would also be fired and labelled as an outcast.
You be surprised what a lawyer would be willing to do for money. It should be an easy win. Lots of lawyers grift laws like this.
The atheist groups like FFRF for example stay afloat from suing cities with 10 commandments statues who then subsequently resist and end up paying a boat load of money. Same with the westborough baptist church, they make money suing groups who violate free speech laws.
It's basically just a form of ambulance chasing, if they think they case and get a payout the cause doesn't really matter. It should be a pretty straight forward discrimination case here.
