Watson only shared 221B Baker Street (which was a boarding home) with Holmes for a few years after his British Indian Army service, then he got married and had his own practice and only visited Holmes occasionally.
Thanks for the info. I'm happy to learn these two weren't like Richard Burton and Rex Harrison in the movie "Staircase". I saw it when I was youg and it was kinda disturbing at the time.
