Just because there is a high IQ individual does not contradict that the IQ distribution of an entire group of people is not low.

Is that genetic or environmental? Remember the white kid in Deliverance who played the banjo?

Black immigrants do much better in the US than blacks who were born here, regardless of whether they come from Jamaica or Kenya.

They do better in school and do better in life with regard to income and avoiding prison.

Can genetics explain that anomaly?

Do you even read?

“Up to 50% of intelligence is genetic”

“Can genetics explain that anomaly?”

I just told you, like everything in psychology it is BOTH.

If you ignore one for the sake of ideology you are wrong.

Genetics and environment determine intelligence. There are genetic differences amongst ethnic groups which mean that the means, standard deviations and shape of the IQ distributions will be different between ethnic groups even when controlling for environment factors.

If you’re not going to believe me, then take it from a clinical psychologist.
