From what I saw, and my objective opinion, Trump wanted to distance himself from her after she went off the rails and started talking about seized servers. If you recall, there was that widely covered presentation with the legal team, and then Powell came up and went into a rant about vast international communist vote flipping schemes, then someone asked her about the servers, and she said "I can confirm that the servers were seized."
The public statement was released right after that.
Trump, being in the position he was in, obviously realized she completely lost it. I'm sure he was well-aware there were no seized servers or military raids on the CIA. I heavily researched how that entire hoax started (it started from a poorly written image in mostly German on 4chan, which spelled servers as "surfers) which made its way to Twitter, where Rep. Gohmert repeated it on a Zoom call, then it blew up from there).
She fell into the Qanon world, likely because of Lin Wood. It ultimately wasn't because she didn't have enough support (she had all the media attention). It was because she was repeating unvetted, wild claims which made it easy for people to so easily dismiss the claims of election fraud as a whackjob conspiracy theory.
The steal was so obvious and simple.
Trump was about to win in a landslide late on election night, 95% odds to win, election analysts and mathematicians were going over remaining counties saying it was nearly impossible for Biden to catch up. That's when we saw them shut the election down and then harvest/manufacture and count ridiculously huge chunks of Biden-only votes for days, up for a week, until they eventually called it.
They are happy to let us do hand recounts, which showed no major discrepancies (which widespread vote flipping or fractional voting would have revealed) and even let us audit the machines. But they still refuse to let us do forensic audits on the ballots/signatures.
