Except the flu is influenza and Covid is a coronavirus.
Look, it's all being manipulated and overblown, but these types of statements aren't factual. If we're going to show they're lying by using facts, we can't just go making up facts.
"The Flu" technically refers to Influenza virus infections, sure. When someone says they have "the flu" they are referring to fever and upper respiratory symptoms, which is often caused by a coronavirus infection, even before covid-19. Technically what they have is "a cold" caused by coronavirus, but rhinovirus "colds" and coronavirus "colds" are are different.
It's not unusual to have flu like symptoms from a coronavirus "cold". What most people do is call a fever a flu and no fever a cold. But a cold from coronavirus often causes fever.
So my point to YOU is what is going around is an "ordinary flu", in colloquial terms. Most people don't go and get a laboratory test to determine exactly what they have, because it's minor. And I would most definitely call my symptoms from covid "minor".
Yep, ordinary flu.

So maybe you should relax your "ackshuallys"?
There's no need to be rude, and I disagree.
