Highjacking top comment to say if you are buying silver, but not physical silver:
DO NOT BUY FROM ETFs LIKE SLV. Their vaults are controlled by the likes of JP Morgan and others, and they intentionally short silver futures after selling it to these ETFs.
The only ETF that actually buys physical silver and doesn't have the big banks with a hand in their vault is PSLV. They're the only ETF who actually benefit from the price of silver going up.
This isn't investment advice, I'm not telling you whether you should of shouldn't buy silver. Just simply saying if you are going to buy silver, buy physical or from PSLV, the others were charged last year (with several indictments from each firm) by Trump's DOJ for artificially fucking with the price of silver through the other ETFs
