President Donald Trump is going to be making a baked potato tonight, live, on Fox News. Laura Ingraham has invited GEOTUS to join her tonight to "react to Biden's press conference & more." Watch with us!

Ingraham made an interesting point to the effect that you better have your Lawfare Mafiosos lined up BEFORE the election dumpster fire, not after. (Then DJT segued into the Supreme Court, not his legal team and its preparedness or lack of.)

Kind of in line with Patrick Byrne's book, Deep Rig, about the useless flailing by Giuliani, Meadows and Cipollone. I wonder if Ingraham read Deep Rig and was obliquely referencing it.

Deep Rig was a good read. It was straightforward and my BS radar didn't go off while reading it. I think Trump was loyal to some people (e.g., Giuliana - who I like and respect generally) who simply weren't equipped to litigate a case involving technology.

I wish we could have it as a book club selection here for Patriots.win, next time I see a mod I will ask.

Dinesh D'Souza was making similar points shortly after 11/3. He said that the trump team spent too much time campaigning while they should have been tackling things in court that needed to be addressed. The left knew this and did; that dreadful TIME article speaks of all the effort that went into getting election laws changed.

The problem with Dinesh's point is that I think we did try. Maybe not hard enough, but we did. And were met with the ol' "no harm has been caused" yet or whatever the legalese speak for it is.

I also appreciated Byrne's perspective. His account of how things went down are depressing but ring true to me.

Fully concur maga_mama. I forced myself to buy and read Deep Rig and as you know, it's depressing but the ring of truth is powerful.

I've also heard people say that Trump should have picked election lawyers instead of people like Giuliani, whose specialty is RICO cases.

He should have had a team of aggressive election lawyers AND (a) lawyers who specialize in technology; (b) a tech team that specialized in data science; and (c) a team that specialized in fraud detection. Anything less was bringing a knife to a gun fight. Dems dedicate their lives to winning elections. GOP has the funds to fight back but it's (a) stupid; and (b) lazy.

Guiliani was a wreck who was falling apart at the seams before the election even took place. One of Trump's worst choices during the most critical moment of his administration and, arguably, in American history.

The Left has locked up all the top election lawyers -- Marc Elias & the Perkins Coie gang -- barring a few. Trump's election lawyers in Wisconsin and Nevada were rock solid though. Unlike the White House team.
