A lot of people don't realize who is running the media in this country. Watch the evening news (cable or broadcast, doesn't matter). Look at all the ads that were bought during the 30 mins comprised of a news broadcast. How many are for pharmaceutical products? Over half.
There is NO WAY anyone in the news media will investigate anything that would shine a negative light on one of their advertisers. That's why you won't see any investigative news stories about COVID-19 vaccine side effects. They aren't going to bite the hand that butters their muffin. Hell, at a minimum the FTC should REQUIRE them to state a disclaimer on-air after reporting a story about any drug if they are taking ad money from that drug's manufacturer. Instead, the media is free to say whatever the hell they want and the viewers are left thinking that the broadcaster has no conflict of interests. This would be like a financial analyst on CNBC recommending that viewers buy a stock and not having to disclose that his firm owns it and stands to gain from any price increase should the demand increase from his recommendation.
"Believe us!" "Trust the science!" No words could be further from the truth if you're hearing that from the media.
